Compassion
When a representative from the Christian charity Compassion came to our Sunday Zoom service in February 2022 to tell us about their helping children from very poor families throughout the world, CBC wanted to help. We chose to support a seven-year-old boy from East Indonesia and since then the Sunday School children have been engaging with that child.

The children found where he lives on a map, and have written and coloured pictures to send to him. He has replied to us, telling us about himself, and we have become friends ‘across the miles’. For his birthday we sent a gift of money to Compassion and the church involved locally were able to ask what he would like. We felt this would be such an encouragement to this young boy and his family.

We pray at Sunday School for our sponsored child. Please will you keep him in your prayers too?
