Crayford Baptist Church Website logoWelcome to Crayford Baptist Church website. We hope you will find our site interesting, useful and informative.

Mission Statement: “To win many souls for Christ in Crayford area and to be effective in the growth of the congregation, both numerically and spiritually.”

We care for the disabledCrayford Baptist Church was founded in 1810 and has the distinction of being one of the oldest Baptist churches in the Dartford, Erith and Bexleyheath areas. The present church buildings are old but robust and have been carfully maintained and thoughtfully modernised in parts. The interior is light, spacious and clean. We have large grounds which include a pleasant well kept garden area and a substantial car park. We have invested generously in facilities for the disabled. Our kitchen is spacious, modern and well equipped.

We are a member church of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the London Baptist Association, the South East Thames District of Baptist churches, a local cluster group of Baptist churches, Churches Together in Crayford and work well with other local churches.

The main churchAlthough the church has been established a long time we are trying to be forward looking and aspire to reach out into and impact the local community. To this end we have a number of activities in the week as well as our two Sunday services. We will be running an Alpha course starting Thursday 4th September, details under "In the week" page.

We are a warm fellowship amongst whom visitors quickly feel at home and welcomed. We want to be open to what God has for us in all sorts of ways and look forward to what He has in store. We are seeing Him work in all sorts of exciting ways.

If you are passing through the district please visit us and you will be warmly welcomed. If you have just moved to Crayford come and join us and belong to a fellowship in which you will be able to contribute and share.
